GCSE Results

This is very overdue but here it goes...

On the 21st August I collected my GCSE results from school. It was so so scary going down to school as some people were overjoyed with their results yet some were left a little disappointed.

I opened my results in the car with my mum and Rebecca, and then I rang my dad, Katie and my auntie. I was really happy with the results I got so we went out to a local cafe to celebrate where I got a yummy hot chocolate! There were so many girls from my school also there out celebrating with their families too.

I then went home and had lunch then headed out to The Courtyard which is another local coffee shop with a beauty bar above. I got another yummy hot chocolate - oopsies. I met my best friend Aimee there too and had a long chat with her!

Later on that day I met Jack in Starbucks and we both had a mango passionfruit and had a quick wee look around the shops and discussed our results.

I then went for dinner in the Cultra Inn which is right beside the Culloden where The Killers were staying that night so I got a chance to have a sneak peak at them too!

That evening, my best friend Amanda had a party which was so so great. It was lovely to gather with all of my friends and have a really great night!

Belsonic 2014

For the past few years in Belfast there has been a concert called Belsonic. This concert is spread over numerous days and each day there is a new artist. I went to the opening night where Jess Glynne played and Example was the headliner.

Going to the concert, I was really apprehensive as I got the train up with Jack and my best friend Jordana. I knew a lot of my other best friends were going too but I didn't know if I would be anywhere near them. Luckily we arrived and a group of my friends arrived two minutes after us so we weren't alone for long!

Wee selfie just as I finished my make up! I ditched the red lips straight away as my eye make up was heavily done! 

Just before I left the house! Jack, Jordana and I got the train at 4pm and went for an early dinner!

I found my jacket so so helpful as it had four pockets (two on the inside and two on the outside). This meant I could bring a few lipglosses, my phone, money, a roll on perfume and a lot more! It also kept me warm throughout the night.

I'm going to another concert this weekend and I will probably do my make up again with a grey/black smokey eye, unless I go full out and do a coloured smokey eye. Learning from my mistakes, I will probably wear my hair up and will also take lots more photos!

A Day At...The Galgorm Resort and Spa

Hello lovelies!

A few days ago I spent the afternoon at the Galgorm Resort and Spa for afternoon tea! It was such a lovely afternoon and the food was so delicious!

Of course Katie and I took an en route selfie!

We had our food in the River Room and Conservatory which was just gorgeous!

We were given a choice of sandwiches and were asked to choose one:

-Prawn Marie Rose
-Roast Beef and Horseradish
-Goats Cheese and Roast Pepper
-Honey Roast Gammon and Smoked Cheddar

I decided to go for the honey roast gammon but asked for it without smoked cheddar! With this came a homemade soup which was spinach and parmesan, a haggis sausage roll and smoked chicken caesar. These savory treats were just fab and they really did fill you up even though they were all miniature. With this I had a lovely pot of English tea.

We were then given a stand of miniature desserts which were a freshly baked scone, strawberry Victoria sponge, a coffee macaroon, a lemon posset with elderflower jelly and raspberries and meringues and finally an apple and blackberry mousse with honeycomb and fresh blueberries.

I was so so full after eating all of this so we decided to have a walk around the grounds of the hotel! We got some pretty wee snaps beside the river!

A Week in...Majorca

Hello lovelies!

I went on a family holiday at the end of June to Puerto de Pollensa in Majorca and the place was so beautiful! Therefore, I decided to compose a blog post, mainly of photos, letting you know what all we got up to! Just to note, that make up was not worn by anyone, hence our bare faces!

We basically spent our whole week away going for coffee, lunch and dinner and then inbetween meals we were at the beach or the pool! It was a very chilled and stress-free holiday! I did buy a few make up products while I was away and they will feature in some later blogs!

A Day In... Belfast

Hello lovelies!

Today I have had a very busy day! I went up to Belfast with my mum and my sisters just to have a look around, not really with the intention of buying anything.

But as always, I bought a few things!

The outfit that I wore today was a light pink top with fluorescent pink lace and it was from Miss Selfridge. This top was £20 and it was definitely worth the money! You can find the exact top here, although the lace is a lot brighter in real life!
With this top, I wore my Topshop Joni Jeans in white. The link to these are here. They are definitely worth £36 as they are perfect for summer! They are also very comfy.

I paired this outfit with my go to River Island gladiator sandals. I actually can't remember how much they are and unfortunately can no longer find the link to them!

I brought along with me my new Mulberry bag which my boyfriend bought me!

I first went to Zara and bought a beautiful pair of jeggings which will be really handy for the rest of summer and also when I go away in September. I really love the shade of denim! They were so well priced at £19.99 which is half the price of Topshop and I think that the quality is just as good!

I also saw a beautiful bag in Zara for £39.99 which I fell in love with but I knew I didn't need it because I just got a new bag last week.

I then went to House of Fraser and went to Paperchase and picked out a few pieces that I'm going to buy before going back to school, but I decided I would purchase them in August when it's closer to school - I also didn't want to be carrying too much around with me because it was super warm!

I then went to Ted Baker and bought the most beautiful bag. It was £39 and will definitely come in handy. I've had a Ted Baker bag before in a similar style and it served me very well! You can order one yourself on here. I bought the bag in black.

I went to Topshop and unfortunately didn't really see anything I wanted but the nail polish stand really impressed me! I definitely will return soon to pick out one of their matte colours!

As I was very tired from being shopping, my mum ordered us all a Domino's pizza which we really enjoyed! The two for Tuesday's offer is so brilliant!

I then bathed my dogs and had a lot of fun taking cute little photos of them!

Later that evening my family and I took a trip to our local Costa coffee. It was super super warm today so I decided to cool off with an iced lemonade which was sooo nice!

I then came home and relaxed. I decided to treat myself to a facial mask and I will be reviewing this specific one in a blog post coming up soon so keep an eye out!
