My School Nails

At the school I attend, coloured nail polish is banned so in order to make my nails look half decent in school, this is what I do;
Firstly, I remove any nail polish already on my nails.
I then file them and push my cuticles back.
I then apply one or two coats of a clear/pink manicure colour. I use either the FCUK or the Natural Collection polishes.

Today I decided to go for FCUK.
This is what it looks like after one coat. I generally tend to only do one coat as I run out of time to do the second. I also think nail polish gets chipped easier if there's more coats on it - especially in school!
To finish it all off I use the Garnier Intensive Restoring Hand Cream to keep my hands feeling fresh and moisturised.

I hope you enjoy this quick little post!

Sephora Polish

Over summer, I got the Sephora polish in "Dirty Groove" and I knew that it would be perfect for autumn/winter because it is a dark tone but still has a really nice metal-look finish. In the light it can look purple or blue, which I really love. I really want to get another one of these in a burgundy shade because I think it would look so pretty!

The finish of this polish is just unbelievably perfect and the brush is such a nice shape, making it super easy to apply.

I use two coats of this polish and it stays on very well without chipping for up to 5-7 days. This is without a top coat so I'm sure it would be a lot more if I wore a top coat too.

I really hope you enjoy this!

Onesie Season

Hello everyone! I am spending a rainy Saturday afternoon in my house blogging away. I am very close to 50 followers on Bloglovin so I'm working hard to try and get that by the end of the weekend!

I am also aiming for 100 followers on Twitter by Christmas which is just over a month away so hopefully that'll happen!

I'm also finishing off nearly-completed blog posts, writing new ones and thinking of ideas for Christmas blog posts which I'm super excited about!

I really want to do at least 10 Christmas blog posts so I'm going to plan a few of them today so I hope you enjoy!

Benefit Fun-Size Flirts

As you probably know, I absolutely love Benefit products. I think the packaging is so sweet and some of the products really do work wonders.

Jack went to London and knowing that I love Benefit, he came back with one of the Christmas releases which was so exciting because it meant I was able to get it now instead of having to wait until Christmas!

The set includes mini products of the following:
1. Instant Comeback Facial Serum
2. PoreFessional Primer
3. That Gal Brightening Face Primer
4. Ooh La Lift Instant Under-Eye Brightening Boost
5. They're Real! Mascara
6. BADgal Lash Mascara
7. Dandelion Blusher
8. Stay Don't Stray Make Up And Eyeshadow Primer (light/medium)
9. Posietint Lip and Cheek Tint
10. Sun Beam Highlighter

I really love this set, because there are a few products in it that I've actually never tried before! And the products that I have tried before that are in it have either run out, or are about to!

Definitely check out the Benefit Christmas gift sets because you'll save a lot of money instead of buying them individually and it's nice to get the mini sizes of products for travelling, or even just for trying out for a while to see if you like them!

October Favourites

This October (as you can tell by the title) I have decided to show you some of my five favourite beauty products!! Here it goes yaaaaay!

My first favourite it the MUA bronzer which is very shimmery. This is perfect for when I go to school every day and all I want is a simple shimmery glow to look healthy! They look very dark in the pan so I went for the lightest shade!

This RealTechniques Expert Face Brush has honestly been my absolute life saver. I have found a completely new way to apply my make up and it gives my foundation and concealer a really nice finish.

I wrote a blog post about this lip gloss very recently so I won't say much except that it is from Forever 21 and is my favourite lip gloss so far of Autumn/Winter.

My MUA Hide and Conceal Concealer is another of my school lifesavers. It's super cheap so I can afford to wear it every day in school. I apply it only under my eyes to make my dark circles look a bit less obvious!

This is one of my monthly favourites because as I have curly hair, it's a nightmare every morning to wake up to! After I wash my hair in the evening, I towel dry it, apply lots of this Aussie Miracle Recharge Frizz Remedy and then plait it and keep it like this overnight! It means my hair is a lot more manageable the next day! This is by far the best smelling leave in conditioner that I have tried!
